Product part of the Mosaic Collection-01.
Inspired by the theme "Mosaic Art," the bag was constructed with laser-cut leather to show various shapes resembling those of the mosaic art. High Heels were also decorated with various shapes of laser cut acrylic glass tiles. The glass shows its reflection as if from the windows of the churches.
Mosaic Art is mostly seen in churches. Through this project, I am able to closely investigate the relationship between crafts and fashion. Researching the history of Mosaic art and turning it into my own contemporary combination with laser-cut acrylic glass tiles and incorporating it into product design.
