The Moon and The Sun

In this work, I juxtaposed the human life cycle with the cycles of the moon and the sun. The two cycles proceed very similarly. The Moon explores the idea of the parallel cycles in the form of a woman, who is embodied as the Yin of cosmic duality. As the yin of cosmic duality, The Sun explores the cycle of a man. The Sun and The Moon shine brightest when they work together, just as masculinity and femininity must coexist to maintain harmony. It completes the inseparable set of The Sun and The Moon, the Yin and the Yang, and the masculine and the feminine.
