Finding Flinch
This was a group project; our team of four, all new to Unity, collaborated to create an engaging game targeted at children. The game concept revolves around the four elements of Earth – water, fire, air, and land – where players meet different animals and complete tasks related to each environment.
Moodboard
We gathered resources of all four different elements, and because it was a kid-friendly game, the game involves solving tasks to find the pet "Flinch." We wanted the vibe of the game to be very nostalgic and calming,g just like of animal crossing.

Starting Scene
I took charge of developing the starting scene where we introduce the users of the current situation and the challenges and goals it has to achieve.

Water Scene
The game was created only using Unity and we had access to asset stores where we could combine scenes and characters. A lot of crashes happened while making the game, and there were a lot of trails and errors since I did not have prior game experience.

Completed Water Scene
I was responsible for designing and developing the water scene and the starting scene, ensuring they were immersive and suitable for young players. The essential goal of the water scene is to find Flinch's lost toys to go to the next step of the scene

Final Completed Workflow
Overall, the project definitely was a challenge we had to all come together to master a software where we did not have prior experience. During the process, we relied on each other for support, and we gained team building. All four members were in charge of each scene and we were able to combine all the scenes together to create a functioning game.

Throughout the project, we focused on user experience, communicating as a team, learning Unity, and applying research to create a fun and educational gameplay experience. This project allowed us to explore game development fundamentals while targeting an audience of young children and delivering a cohesive, interactive world based on elemental themes.
